Sit Means Sit Long Beach is an amazing! We have our one year old Husky in training with them and they have worked wonders in a very short period of time. Our Husky is very stubborn and has zero recall when we started, but after just one lesson, she now comes when called without a problem and even if there are big distractions. We cannot thank Sit Means Sit Long Beach enough for their help! We highly recommend this trainer to anyone looking to see actual results from their dog training.

Lisa Maria at Sit Means Sit has been a life saver. We don’t know what we would of done with our dog Wellington. She has given us the knowledge and her expertise to help us train our puppy. With a short time we have seen a tremendous improvements. I know we still have a ways to go, but with Lisa Marie’s help I am sure our puppy nightmares will be over. I am super glad I found Sit means sit. After sitting down with Lisa- Marie to discuss the type of training I wanted for my dog , I knew this was the place for us . All the trainers have been amazing with assisting me and my dog with the proper training techniques. They work hard in ensuring you’re both getting the best out of their services , going at the pace of your dog. I cannot thank them enough for being apart of the growth of my fur baby King Tut.

The trainers are also making sure to communicate to the owners regarding their pups progress and coming up with game plans to ultimately help your pup succeed. They really treat your dogs as if they are their own which is just the cherry on-top . And working with them has pushed me out of my comfort zone in the best way and strengthened me and King’s relationship even more.

I can’t say enough good things about Anthony and Lisa-Marie at Sit Means Sit in Long Beach. From the very first consultation, it was clear that both of them are true professionals—knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We brought in our adopted stray who was completely fear-based in her responses—startled by sounds, hesitant around people, and generally unsure of the world around her. Our trainer, Anthony, took the time to tailor the training to her pace, and it made all the difference. His patience and empathy were remarkable. Over the course of the program, we watched our dog transform from a timid, anxious pup into a well-behaved and noticeably more confident companion. Highly recommend!!!

So happy I found sit means sit! They’ve helped us understand my dog better to give him a better life! Although he may not be friendly with everyone, it’s been manageable to where we can take him out to dog friendly restaurants without being worry he will be lounging or barking at everyone! I take what I learned from here to keep providing training to improve his life!

We’ve been coming to training for 2 years now and we absolutely love it! They do pack walks, group classes and the first ever canine confidence competition. Lisa-Marie and her team always do such a great job communicating and challenging our dogs to be better and more confident.

If you’re looking for the BEST dog training in town, this is definitely the place! My dog Zeus has had a history of dog reactivity and nervousness. He would constantly bark and lung at other dogs. Zeus wouldn’t listen to any commands given to him either. I always felt so embarrassed taking him outside and always stuck to secluded places where other dogs/ people wouldn’t walk. With the help of the amazing trainers and owner, I can confidently take him for a walk and give commands to him. I see such a tremendous difference in Zeus than before. Sit Means Sit Long Beach has been an absolute lifesaver. Lisa Marie and her team are truly amazing and what they teach really works. We brought home two puppies just weeks apart, and their play quickly turned into overwhelming, aggressive behavior that left me at my wits’ end. I honestly wasn’t sure if we’d be able to keep them both.

After just four sessions at Sit Means Sit, the change was night and day. The pups are calmer, more controlled, and finally learning how to interact appropriately. We’re still working on their training, but Lisa Marie and her team are there every step of the way with support and guidance.

Lisa Marie and her assistants were incredibly helpful in teaching me how to train my dog to be less aggressive towards other dogs so we could successfully integrate another dog into our home. Through in-person training, an on line library of educational videos and refresher courses I was given tools to help me assist my dog in achieving security and reduce resource guarding. But Lisa Marie went above and beyond when the rescue I was working with placed additional requirements on me and my dog prior to adoption and she helped me meet those demands. I wish I had found her and Sit Means Sit first before spending so much money on other trainers that yielded very little results if any. I can’t say enough nice things about Lisa Marie and Sit Means Sit. I highly recommend.

I had a great experience with Sit Means Sit for my Beagle. She’s come a long way from where she started. Her leash walking has improved a lot, she sits when I need her to, and she’s much more attentive to commands. The structure and consistency really made a difference. I’m definitely seeing progress and feel more confident handling her now. Highly recommend their training program.

We found Lisa-Marie more than 2 years ago to help us with our reactive dog. We tried everything else and multiple other trainers and nothing else worked. Training with Lisa-Marie has allowed us to attend numerous group classes and pack walls which helped our dog’s reactivity immensely. We enrolled our second dog into training as well and are so glad that we did. The two of them are much more confident and obedient pup which has improved their and our lives! We can enjoy activities together and give them more freedom to be dogs!

10/10 experience!! I can’t recommend this dog training service enough! My dog used to be extremely reactive to humans and big dogs; walks and outings were stressful and embarrassing because she would bark, lunge, and resource guard me and her treats. After just four private dog training sessions, her behavior completely changed. She’s now calmer, less reactive, and so much more confident around both people and other dogs. I’m finally able to enjoy taking her to public spaces again. If you’re struggling with a reactive or anxious dog, this trainer is amazing and truly understands how to help.

Lisa has been so helpful with training my dog Arlo! He is a puppy with lots of energy and her and her staff have had amazing patience and tips on how to best support his training journey. I love how prompt they are with responses and they make amazing training videos for you to watch of your dog. They are all so kind and he has made insane improvement although just starting out. I would highly recommend Sit Means Sit Long Beach to anyone looking for training assistance!!
